How It Works

Induction heat treatment operates on the principles of Faraday-Maxwell and Joule-Lenz laws, which govern the conversion of electrical energy into high-frequency currents and subsequently into thermal energy. The process begins by supplying electrical energy to an inductor through a generator, creating a powerful electromagnetic field. When a metal object is placed near or inside the inductor, the high-frequency currents penetrate the metal, generating heat within the material itself. This localized heating allows for precise control over the treatment, ensuring that only specific areas of the component are hardened or altered without affecting the rest of the material.
